How to Open a DWG file

The DWG file extension is a vector image format created by 2D or 3D AutoCAD drawing programs. It stores not only the design information but also a description of the file. You will need to have the AutoCAD program to open the file. Of course, if you don't have the AutoCAD program, you can still open the .dwg file through ShareCAD, a free .dwg file-viewing program where you can open the .dwg file and share it if you want.
